CannabiSage™ was built by two people who watched their own families navigate cannabis questions without the kind of clear, age-appropriate, evidence-rated guidance the topic deserves. So they wrote it.
Decision frameworks & education · Author · Consultant
Ken has spent more than four decades helping organizations and individuals make better decisions in the face of complexity. His professional life has spanned consulting, training, and education across operational excellence, applied AI, and strategic decision-making — work that has resulted in books, curricula, and frameworks used inside Fortune 500 companies and graduate programs alike.
The CannabiSage™ project pulls that lens onto a topic where complexity, uncertainty, and high stakes intersect every day: how an aging adult, often on a long medication list, should think about therapeutic cannabis. Ken’s contribution is the structure — how the evidence is rated, how the questions are asked, how the framework holds up across very different individual situations.
Education & communication · Educator · “Nana Nay”
Nadine spent her career in education — as a classroom teacher, a mentor to early-career educators, and ultimately as a nationally recognized school principal. The thread running through all of it: making complicated ideas accessible to people who needed to act on them, on a timeline, often without the luxury of expertise.
That same skill is what CannabiSage™ runs on. Nadine writes for the reader — the 70-year-old considering cannabis for sleep, the daughter trying to make sense of what her mother has started taking, the husband who wants to support his wife’s choices but doesn’t quite understand them. Outside the project, she helps care for aging family members and friends, which keeps the work honest. The grandkids call her Nana Nay.
“We started this because the people we love were asking us cannabis questions and the answers we found in books and online were either cheerleading or dismissal — never the honest, age-aware, evidence-rated guidance they actually needed. So we built it.”
